A Year of Growth

Between our amazing baristas, skilled line cooks, intrepid chef, and dedicated social media captain, we had built a momentum in 2024 that came to a sharp halt and subsequent decline. But thanks to a faithful community, old friends, and new partnerships, we're headed into 2026 with even sharper momentum than before!
A New Look For a New Direction

Was It All for CREDO?

Yes!...and no. Part of our reasoning in transitioning our name to CREDO "Coffee Roasters," was to solidify our position in the coffee industry as producers in our own right. Not every brand has the capacity -or desire- to roast their own coffee, and we're happy to expand our network, industry reach, and impact by working with them. Not everything that drops in the drum and goes out our doors has our name on the package, but it will always be marked by our excellence. Who knows- you may have been drinking CREDO-roasted coffee without even knowing!
Friends, Old and New
Among the first to pioneer Direct-Trade coffee, CREDO was an industry leader when it was founded in 2010. Since then, we've been dedicated to the same farmers for our mutual protracted development. Our ambitious goal was to have a total of 12 Direct-Trade farmer or cooperative relationships by the end of 2025 and we fell short, but progress was made and more are in the works!

Where Did Your Coffee Come From?

Banking, The Old American Art
At CREDO we are explicitly working for a better tomorrow. We started by addressing the exploitative nature of the coffee industry and in so doing came to the conclusion that the system responsible for this exploitative nature is Imperialism: its finance capital and usury are the ties that bind producers in the global south to workers and even business owners in the US in our experience of upstream wealth redistribution to a financial class and landlord class which rule our lives and economy.
The loss of the Cafes were daunting in more ways than one: they were unexpectedly taken from us by our landlords right after we had made significant investments into the cafes themselves.
This led to a situation of unsecured debt for dead-end investments. We've had to service those debts this year on wholesale revenues alone- without the much higher cafe revenues previously projected before closure. This year, we paid $60,118.80 in principle payments and an additional $9,520.09 in interest. We still have over 6 figures remaining.
Most businesses aren't so forthcoming with this sort of information, but there can be no absolution until what is done in darkness is brought to light. A better tomorrow is certainly to be had, but only if together we loose the fetters that bind us today.
Community Partners
We love Orlando, and we love the workers of this Nation.
We also love to support and work with others who do to. This year we're proud to have worked alongside organizations like
Dinner Party Project
Faith Family Medical
I-Dignity
People's Free Kitchen
Please Evolve Foundation
REAL (Revolutionary Education and Action League)
TUB (The Umbrella Brigade)
We've supported their vital work through in-kind donations, volunteer hours, and even official collaborations through our new Impact Makers program (find it on our website), but trust us-these organizations have supported us as much as we have supported them. Truly, it takes a nation to bring you a cup of coffee.
